Emotional Energy Healing

How Energy Healing Can Help With Anxiety, Fear, Stress & Depression

Background on Emotional Energy Healing

When we feel stressed, depressed or angry, we are unintentionally enhancing additional layers of negative energy within the body. Our normal response when not feeling our best would be to try to place a band-aid over that emotion by either suppressing it, ignoring it or mentally telling it to go away. However, that just generates additional negative waves and therefore the underlying negative stressor still remains alive & strong within the body.

According to various energy healers, negative feelings need to be felt and processed before they can go away. Certain emotions, stress & anxiety will keep coming up until the body and mind is ready to feel & acknowledge. By the body acknowledging that negative thought, feeling or emotion — simply focusing on that specific feeling within the body - it will help shift the overall emotional balance within the body.

The key is to literally just focus on the feeling itself. Don’t judge, don’t overthink….just feel it. It’s as simple as that.

Practice Emotional Energy Healing

  1. Close your eyes and relax. While breathing in and out, scan your body from head to toe to determine if there are any spots within your body that feel anxiety, pain, tense or stressed.

  2. Focus where you emotionally feel off in the body. Simply relax and feel the discomfort. Don’t react….don’t judge it, don’t think you don’t like it or want it to go away - - simply feel it without thought.

  3. Relax the whole rest of the body and mentally fall into the spot where the discomfort resides. Breathe and hold your attention in this area. Keep your thoughts neutral and experience those emotions and energy. By feeling and acknowledging, you are giving permission for it to be heard, and therefore, negative emotions will begin to dissolve and go away.

  4. Even if this sounds crazy (it’s okay to think that!), give it a try and see for yourself if this process helps make a positive difference the next time you emotionally feel off.

Addiction & Healing

Stored trauma is usually the root of addiction, whether it’s substance abuse, addiction to food or other actions that negatively impact your body and mind.

By not knowing how to process the trauma, the natural reflex is to try to numb and avoid one’s emotions through unhealthy actions.

The next time you know you are potentially numbing or hurting your body, take a moment to close your eyes and feel into the feeling that is making you do that thing. It should take no longer than a minute. Once that feeling is acknowledged, it will slowly start to dissolve, and the need to do that harmful action should hopefully not be as strong or the urge to do will slowly dissipate away. Processing one’s emotion real time is the key to sustaining one’s mental health.
